Project Background
A unique project combining the UK's newest deep-sea container port with Europe's largest logistics park. As a result of the works, the port can handle the largest container ships in the world and has dramatically increased London's handling capabilities.

Fabrication and installation of a new pipeline and associated Electrical and Instrumentation works.

Scope of Works
Mechanical
Fabrication and installation of a new pipeline from a Thames side jetty to an existing tank farm, including approximately 6,000 metres of free issue carbon steel pipework:
- 600nb - 1,000mts
- 450nb - 1,000mts
- 400nb - 1,000mts
- 300nb - 1,000mts
- 25nb to 250nb - 2,000mts

Electrical and Instrumentation
E&I scope associated with the construction of a new import/export facility, including: new control building, substation and HV cable link to existing services.
- Installation of cable containment: 300mts of SS cable tray and ladderack, all support brackets, trunking and conduit. 480mts of cable trench.
- Installation of 3,000mts cable (free issue and Boulting supply).
- Installation of free issue Emerson control system, two Dual UPS systems, two 6.6Kv/415v transformers, new 41hv MCC, Fire Foam system.
- Installation of all other associated E&I equipment: Luminaries, control stations, junction boxes, motorised valves and pressure/flow/level instruments.
- Design, supply and install fir alarm system for three new buildings.
- Testing, inspection and commissioning of all installed equipment.
