Contract Scope:

ResNET is the project title for the delivery of high-speed internet access within every student accommodation room for halls of residents. The project was delivered over a three-month period at four occupied campus locations throughout Birmingham.

Project management was critical to the success of the project, as work on four campuses was performed in parallel with multi-discipline teams, without disruption, and was co-ordinated closely with building maintenance projects being performed by other contractors.

The project comprised the installation of a single-mode fibre infrastructure to all 31 buildings across the four halls via external ducting systems, with around 2,000 Category 5e data outlets internally to each of the rooms.
