Over its long history, the Boulting Group has grown into a leading provider of engineering solutions for some of the world’s largest and most respected blue-chip companies.
We were founded in 1918 by William Boulting, who prided himself on offering quality and expertise in the early fields of electricals and instrumentation. His high standards not only led the company into steady growth but continue to underpin every aspect of our work to this day.
The company’s operations expanded into many new areas, and by 1994 were under the ownership of East Midlands Electricity. At that point, a management buyout provided the team with the freedom it needed to capitalise both on the strengths of the business and the opportunities available in the market.
Since 1994, when our income has grown more than five fold, our areas of service and expertise have grown dramatically and the Boulting Group now employs 800 people on projects at home and overseas, helping our Clients achieve their goals faster and more effectively across a broad range of industry sectors.
