Contract Awarded at Hinkley Point B Power Station

Following on from successful installations of High Density Polyethylene pipping (HDPE) at its Heysham 2 and Torness Power Stations, EDF Energy has commissioned Boulting Group to replace the existing buried coated steel pipeline with HDPE at Hinkley Point B Power Station.
Over a one year period, Boulting Group will project manage, design and supply - including fabrication, civil construction and mechanical installation - of the new 500mm OD HDPE pipeline that will bypass the existing buried pipework.
