Contract Awarded to Reduce Emissions at Europes Leading Independent Refiner

Despite fierce competition from 4 other major contractors, Boulting Mechanical has been awarded the contract to install new vessels and tanks at the PetroPlus Coryton site. This will involve the fabrication and installation of approximately 3,000 meters of free issue carbon steel and stainless steel pipework. Fabrication of the structural steel will take place at Boulting Group's Mechanical facility in St. Helens.
The programme of works is expected to commence on March 01 2011 and will take approximately 30 weeks to complete. All mechanical works will be undertaken by Boulting Group, including fabrication and erection of pipework, erection of all vessels and columns, fabrication and erection of steel work as well as all testing an commissioning work.
