Donald competes for charity sponsorship and races past the finish line

20/9/2011

On Sunday the 4th September Donald Muir, Director of Boulting Scotland, took to the streets of Glasgow for Scotland's largest mass participation sporting event: the annual 10K and half marathon road races.

Over 22,500 participants turned up for the race, which took place in the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow and is renowned for its fast course, atmosphere and scenic route.

Running in aid of Boulting Group's nominated charity - The Neonatal Unit at Warrington Hospital - Donald joined the several thousand runners, joggers and walkers, may of whom were also competing on behalf of a charitable cause, and raised a massive £267 in donations.

Donald raced past the finish line in a brilliant 202nd (out of 7445 finishers), completing the race in an impressive 43mins, 15 secs.

Thanks for all those that kindly sponsored Donald's run and a big well done to the man himself for all the hard work.
