Boulting Group launches 2018 graduate placements at Staffordshire Future Fest

13th October

Taking place November 13 to November 17, 2017, Future Fest will feature a range of job fairs, seminars, networking events and workshops. Boulting Group will be exhibiting at the event on November 14 and informing students of the opportunities available through our highly sought-after graduate programme.

With sites across the country, including one in Staffordshire, Boulting Group employs over 1,200 staff in all the major engineering construction disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and technology.

Each year, Boulting Group offers a chosen few a place on its graduate programme. The graduates come from a diverse range of degree subjects, including computer sciences, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. As part of the programme, graduates undertake a structured learning and development plan, which is designed to set out key milestones during the first stage of their engineering career. This plan is supported by a business mentor and coach who will guide new employees through each step.

“Boulting Group has been investing in young talent for nearly 100 years,” explained Michelle Stott, HR manager at Boulting Group. “We’re excited to be returning to Staffordshire University in November and hope to find some standout candidates for our graduate programme.

“The world of engineering is evolving and so is the job market. This year, we are keen to speak to undergraduates interested in software engineering, quantity surveying and estimation. While many students will still have six months before completing their studies, it’s important that they begin thinking about what happens after they graduate now.

“We’re encouraging those interested in applying for Boulting Group’s graduate programme to visit us at Future Fest where our HR team will be on-hand to explore the opportunities available.”

With the number of young people completing higher education courses at an all-time high, graduate programmes are becoming increasingly competitive. To maximise any opportunities available, Boulting Group is urging students to start the process as early as possible.

Future Fest 2017 will take place from November 13 to November 17 at Staffordshire University’s College Road campus, Stoke-on-Trent. Boulting Group will be in attendance on November 14.
