Invercannie DAF Project: working with Efficient Service Delievry (ESD) on behalf of Scottish Water


Invercannie WTW abstracts raw water from the River Dee and currently treats flows of up to 50Ml/d. This project will upgrade the works to treat maximum flows of 70Ml/d and install a new Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) treatment process, Chlorine Contact Tank, Clean Water Tank, Network Pumping Station and various upgrades to the existing works to suit new process.

As part of these upgrades, three new MCCs will be provided;

  1. DAF – 22 Metres long
  2. Lairds Cast – 8M etres long
  3. Post Membrane – 9 Metres long

Boulting Responsibilities

Boulting Technology are responsible for the provision of low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies and associated System Integration including PLC, HMI and SCADA modification. Our work comprises of the design, supply, investigative surveys, delivering to site, off-loading, moving into position, erection, installation, site modifications, inspection, testing, commissioning, training, as-built documentation, O&M manuals and project management services.
