Boulting held its very first Celebration of Success day at the impressive Halliwell Jones Stadium, home to Warrington Wolves, on Tuesday 2nd February. The day was the first of its kind for Boulting and marked the completion of the Level 5 Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) training with development and training company 5tM. The ILM training programme delivers the current and future leaders of the company the skills to better serve its key customers, while establishing solid foundations for succession planning across the business' platform.
To celebrate the successes of the Boulting team, the morning session was hosted by eight members of the team who had recently completed the ILM programme. The selected members of staff that provided feedback on their learnings from the training, and how to harness this within the business going forward, included both Boulting's current directors and those who are set to progress through their careers at Boulting to become the future leaders of the company.
The day's afternoon session saw the Boulting team celebrate some of its employees who have successfully completed further education degrees and courses as part of their ongoing career development at Boulting, showcasing the achievements and successes of individuals within the company.
Mike Groarke, Boulting's Chief Executive, said: "Boulting's Celebration of Success Day has been an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate the outstanding levels of excellence and achievements within our organisation. The feedback provided at the event by our colleagues who have already completed the ILM programme reinforced the moves we must make in order to achieve our strategic objectives. The occasion also recognised the opportunity for career progression, with many of our colleagues who are now directors having begun their Boulting careers at grassroots levels.
"It is rare that we are afforded the time as a company to join together to celebrate such successes, and I am delighted that so many members of our team were able to attend. I look forward to our next Celebration of Success Day, which I am sure will grow to become an even bigger event and a key date in our calendar."
Boulting is highly committed to investing in learning and development at all levels throughout the business and is keen to further develop structured training programmes that give employees the right skills to continue to deliver engineering excellence to its clients.
