We recently hosted a preferred supplier event at Astra Zeneca attended by some 150 plus project managers and engineers from the Macclesfield Astra Zeneca site.
The highly visual event encouraged delegates to get to know us a lot better, with the extensive range of our capabilities on show. The exhibition space was transformed with eye-catching display stands highlighting some of the innovative projects Boulting have completed for both Astra Zeneca and beyond.
On show was some high tech options too, demonstrating the use of virtual reality and BIM together to get a real “in the room” feel to the design of the often complex spaces for the end user. Likewise, demonstrations of the latest wireless software for assisted lighting to commission, control, that has proven to significantly reduce energy consumption, as well as adapt to changing environments.
With representatives from Boulting available to talk about systems integration, power management, control system service and support, engineering design capability, modular fabrication as well as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation solutions, there was something of interest for everyone. In addition, with some great projects such as the award winning Littleton pump refurbishment project, PV solar installation and recent turnkey design and build of new European R&D facility, there was lots of discussion.
The engaging exhibition included a lively Batak game where delegates were invited to test their reactions against the game, reflecting that Boulting too can react fast to clients’ needs with their onsite teams.
The feedback has been very positive with 94% of delegates scoring the event as “Great”. Comments received included “informative and interactive displays, backed with good industry knowledge” and “Very impressive array of skills. Much more to offer than originally thought.”
