St Rocco's Hospice has been supporting the families of Warrington for nearly 30 years. The hospice offers specialist care to patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses, whilst supporting their families and carers too. It costs £2.9 million each year to run the Hospice - that's £5 a minute 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As part of St Rocco's Corporate Challenge we were asked if we wanted to take part in a different type of sponsored game? So up for a challenge we said yes.....
"Welcome to It's A Knockout!" was the call from Vanessa at St Rocco's.
We all remembered the 80's game, big costumes, acting silly and of course getting totally and utterly drowned.
We sent an email round for willing volunteers, some not so willing, and a team of 10 Boulting Knockout's was formed.
The day was totally amazing, every one of us got bounced, splashed, bounced again and totally and utterly soaked!!
Boulting Knockouts came 4th out of 11 teams which we were very proud of.
Every one of us wants to sign up again for next year, what an excellent fun way of raising a lot of money for a very good cause.
So far Boulting Knockouts have raised £730
